Looses connection then alarms on both device and phone wont stop. The software needs to be updated. I was able download the app to my Iphone and connect to device. Worked great at first. I could activate the alarm from the app as expects... initially happy. When I walked some distance from the device, my phone started alarming (bird chirping noise). It lost connected. I reconnected, then closed the app... then the device started chirping... non-stop. I finally had to turn both the app and device off. Also, if you loose bluetooth connectivity, you cant get it back unless you are close to the device... well if its lost... that defeats the purpose. The owner needs to fix the app... seems like a software update would fix the problem or better instruction can help the user to setup properly.

Will never lose my keys again

I just got itag this week and I think its awesome...finds my phone, finds my keys, has a remote for better pics on the phone...totally worth the money and then some! I dont get the negative reviews, Im not very techie and I set this up myself.

Probably would work fine if programmed correctly, but it is not. As it is now it is totally useless. I want it to always be available for connection and alert if something is lost, but thats not the way it works. As it is it barely stays connected. I will complain to Groupon about this one, though I dont expect any restitution.

After reading such horrible reviews I was really surprised how well it worked. Finds my keys and my iPhone when they are lost. I wish the alarm for the phone was louder when it is lost. I have turned up the volume and it still is half volume. I did figure out to use the key chain tag to turn off iPhone alert. The iPhone alert off button on the iPhone screen didnt work which is what a lot of people are having a problem with. Just click the itag once and it turns off. I would and did but again.

I put it on my keys, and unfortunately if my phone a keys get separated by more than a few feet they both alarm until reunited. It couldnt be more annoying! By the description one would think it is a manual option should you misplace something, but in reality it is an automatic alarm system designed to go off when the blue tooth connection is broken by even a short distance. Not a good product at all and quite frankly a very misleading description.

Worked once and I think battery is dead within couple hours... Great idea but product is worthless

The app is so bad. Its very difficult to use if you have multiple devices. This is especially true because as i have discovered you cannot name your device anything specific so every tracker has the same name, making it hard to differentiate between them. Also, the app has to be open at ALL times running in the backround or else the tracker just beeps. That has to be a glitch because it is the most obnoxious thing.

If device and phone are separated, alarm sounds until manually deleted. This renders the ability to "find" anything completely useless. Total waste of money.

I dont get all the negative reviews. I opened and read the instructions before I began to download and use the application. Havent encountered any problems but if I do Ill b on the phone with Customer Service before I get discouraged and give up.

This item is worthless. Got the iTag, followed the instructions and my iPhone cant even find the iTag the first time to pair. Even with the tag sitting right next to the phone. USELESS.

If app is shut down, put in background or if devices get out of range of each other they loose connection and dont reconnect when back in range and app is in focus. This makes it useless in finding tag or phone unless you have just connected them. Developer needs to save all active devices and reconnect them automatically when app is spawned and any active devices are in range. The beeping that others complain about is actually a feature to help you not leave your phone or keys behind. It is annoying though and can be turned off by clicking the arrow left button beside the tag in the device tab the turning off the "anti lost" switch. The device and app are pretty much unless as is. But it is an app software problem. I hope the developer will put out a bug fix version that makes the tags useful. It is very close to a great product!

The idea is great- the software is terrible. The alert goes off continuously with no reason. Im sitting here on the sofa with the device not more then 10 feet from me and it keeps going off. Ive had to disconnect it. Needs help. I guess its the software.

Works for me. If phone and keys are separated and it beeps then turn alert off! So much better than looking for keys for 15 mins like is done in my house. Only thing to make it better is being able to connect 1 fob to more than 1 phone or being able to turn off and on from phone. Worth the 8bucks paid

Im having the same problem as everyone else: 1) If you close the app, the fob beeps until you reopen the app, and then reconnect 2) If you exceed the Bluetooth range, the fob beeps AND the phone alarm sounds until the two are reunited. This behavior renders the device completely useless.

At times, you need your keys to get your devices back onto the app. If you need to find your keys, and your device is not on the app because your phones battery had died earlier in the day, the whole thing is useless! Thats not cool...

These are worthless, they constantly disconnect from your phone and you need to push the bottom on the fob to reconnect,, if you happen to lose your keys (or whatever your fob is attached to) you cant reconnect them without the fob. WORTHLESS

There is no instruction. The web site is in Chinese. and No way to understand how to configure and use. Seems to loose connectivity while not moving.
